Philip C. Halverson, M.D.
Philip C. Halverson, M.D. joined Allergy & Asthma Specialists, P.A. in 1987. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Campus, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.
Dr. Halverson is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine, University of Minnesota Medical School, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care and teaches medical students and residents in the diagnosis and care of patients with asthma and allergic diseases. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Allergy Asthma, and Immunology and Fellow in the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Halverson serves as Vice Chair of the Asthma Diagnosis Assessment and Treatment Committee for the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology.
Dr. Halverson has been actively involved in clinical research for over 25 years serving as Principal Investigator in many clinical trials in the areas of asthma and allergic rhinitis.
Dr. Halverson is married to Stephanie and lives in Maple Grove. He has four children and two step-children. His interests include running and photography.
